Professional trivia

In Korea, a check mark on an answer means that the answer is wrong. Circling an answer means that the answer is correct.

I must have REALLY confused some kids with that.

I remember being confused over this when I first came to US. Growing up in Korean, I now vaguely remember, since it's been a long time, that a check mark meant it needs to be corrected or something like that. So, i used to circle my answers instead of check marks here in US just to make sure...

In patent land, a checkmark means that a claim is rejected, and an allowed claim gets an equal sign...
